Vewd is made by you. We help to discover the most amazing and unknown documentary photographers around the world. Here's how to get involved:

1. Shoot

Go out and shoot! Shoot what's important to you. Tell the story!

2. Edit

Edit those images down. We don't want all 500 pictures you took, just the best of the best. We don't mean cut out the bad parts with Photoshop. In fact, don't send us a single photo you have messed with in Photoshop, unless you took out a little dust or adjusted the color.

3. Submit

When you have the photos cut down to a reasonable number (15-25 will do), head over to the Contributor Registration page. If you're not sure your photos are what we are looking for, have a look at the guidelines.

4. Selection

Once you've uploaded them to us, we will have a look. We will review, discuss, and maybe even post it to our blog to get some feedback. After a little time, we'll choose. Then we'll let you know if we want to publish your work and if not, we will do our best to explain why.

5. Get published!

We put your work together in a gallery, like the ones you see scattered around the website, with information on how to hire you and ways to send you compliments.
